Host Prelaunch Beta
Carvia's invite-only host beta lets you create your host account and prepare complete private vehicle listings before public launch. It does not make a vehicle rentable or bookable.
What access includes
An active beta member can:
- Create a Carvia host account on the website or mobile app.
- Add vehicle details, real vehicle photos, pricing, availability, features, extras, and pickup information.
- Continue editing saved vehicle drafts from the host workspace.
- Receive a personal invite code and share it with other prospective hosts.
Prelaunch access does not authorize rentals and does not replace any host, vehicle, inspection, licensing, insurance, or other eligibility requirement that applies when Carvia launches.
Joining with an invite
On the website, open Host prelaunch. In the mobile app, select Join host beta. Enter the invite code you received before creating a new account.
Carvia validates the code before account creation begins. Codes can be paused, revoked, expired, or limited to a set number of uses. If you already have a Carvia account, sign in first and accept the invite with that account.
Your personal invite code
After enrollment, Carvia issues a readable personal code based on your name plus a short unique suffix. A standard member code can be used five times. Your beta-access screen shows the code, its status, and the number of invitations remaining, with controls to copy or share it.
Host beta codes only grant host prelaunch access. They are separate from guest travel credits and do not create a discount or account balance.
Private listings during prelaunch
An active beta member can save a complete vehicle listing, but it remains a Prelaunch draft:
- It does not appear in guest search.
- It cannot accept Instant Book or Request to Book trips.
- It cannot be submitted for review or published while the prelaunch publishing lock applies.
- You can continue editing it from the host app or website.
The publishing restriction is enforced by Carvia's database, not only by the button shown in the app or website.
When publishing unlocks
Carvia operations can mark an enrollment Graduated when launch access is appropriate. Graduation removes the beta-specific publishing lock; it does not automatically publish a vehicle or bypass normal listing requirements.
After graduation, a vehicle still needs every applicable eligibility item, including a current inspection submission, recall clearance, complete listing details, and Carvia's normal review decision before it can become searchable and bookable.
Paused or revoked access
A paused or revoked member cannot use prelaunch access to publish a vehicle. The beta-access screen shows the current status. Contact Carvia support if you believe the status is incorrect.
